Overview

As part of a broader brand and marketing initiative developed at STEWART for Merck Animal Health, I contributed to the web design and front-end experience for the Bravecto® Cares campaign, a digital initiative supporting service dog training programs through a partnership with NEADS (National Education for Assistance Dog Services). In my role as web and UX designer, I collaborated with brand designer Nancy Sherwood to help translate the campaign’s broader visual and strategic direction into a responsive digital experience.

The campaign was designed to raise awareness around service dogs while encouraging user participation through interactive engagement. I helped design and implement the campaign’s web interface, structuring the experience to guide visitors through the program story, highlight the partnership with NEADS, and provide multiple points of interaction throughout the site. The goal was to create an experience that felt informative, approachable, and engaging while staying aligned with the established Bravecto and Merck Animal Health brand systems.

A key component of the campaign included interactive participation features such as a public puppy-naming vote and a promotional sweepstakes. These elements required designing user flows that supported multiple participation states, including open voting, vote confirmation, closed voting, and sweepstakes entry, while maintaining clarity and continuity throughout the experience. Careful attention was given to how users moved through these interactions so the interface remained intuitive and easy to follow across devices.

The project also included a content-driven storytelling component through a campaign blog documenting the journey of service dogs in training. The interface was structured to support ongoing updates while keeping the campaign narrative visually engaging, organized, and easy to follow over time.

Working within the established campaign brand system, the design emphasized clear content hierarchy, approachable visual storytelling, and responsive layouts. The result was a cohesive digital campaign platform that brought together educational messaging, nonprofit storytelling, and interactive participation within a unified branded experience.
