Delta Machine & Ironworks is a Louisiana-based manufacturer specializing in custom pipe supports, piping accessories, and fabricated steel products for industrial construction projects. The engagement began as a request to reskin the company’s existing website using a new design created by the agency Two Guys Global. After reviewing the platform, it became clear that the site’s foundation was unstable. The website relied heavily on plugins, contained broken components, and had become difficult to maintain, making a simple visual update the wrong long-term solution.

The client had also experienced ongoing frustrations with their hosting provider, including limited support and a lack of proactive technical oversight. Rather than applying a new interface to a fragile system, the project evolved into a complete rebuild of both the website and its supporting infrastructure. The site was rebuilt as a lightweight, plugin-minimal WordPress implementation, replacing many plugin-based features with custom development to improve stability, performance, and long-term maintainability. A major part of the rebuild was a fully custom quote request system designed around Delta’s sales workflow. The form allows prospective customers to search for products or services, submit detailed project requirements, and upload supporting files such as drawings or specifications. This created a more practical intake process tailored to the way the company handles inquiries and project details.

The project also included migrating the site to a more reliable hosting environment, improving performance, operational stability, and reducing ongoing hosting costs. The engagement now continues through ongoing website maintenance and technical support, giving Delta a more proactive and dependable long-term partner for its website and digital infrastructure.
