A custom WordPress website was designed and developed for Jeffersonville attorney Larry Wilder to strengthen his online presence, improve search visibility, and create a clearer path for potential clients seeking legal assistance. The site was created to feel professional, credible, and approachable while making it easier for users to understand the firm’s services and request help.

A major part of the project involved restructuring the site around dedicated practice-area pages. The previous website primarily listed services on a single page with limited supporting content. The new site introduced focused pages for areas including criminal defense, personal injury, and civil litigation, giving both users and search engines clearer entry points into the firm’s services. Contact forms were integrated throughout these pages so prospective clients could inquire directly from the content most relevant to their needs.

The new service-page strategy has produced a clear shift in organic search visibility. The previous site had little to no consistent presence for searches related to its core practice areas, but after dedicated pages with substantive content were introduced, the firm began appearing regularly for searches related to criminal defense, personal injury, and civil litigation. Google Search Console now shows approximately 1,390 impressions for criminal defense queries, 462 for personal injury, and 241 for civil litigation over the 16-month reporting period, with the strongest and most sustained visibility emerging in the more recent months.

The site also includes a searchable blog and press section highlighting Larry Wilder’s involvement in notable legal cases and media coverage. Original, Larry-focused articles were created around press mentions while linking back to the original news sources, giving the site a growing library of relevant content tied to the firm’s work, reputation, and areas of expertise.

The project also included migrating content from the previous website and moving the site to a more reliable hosting environment. The result is a modern, performance-focused legal website with stronger content architecture, improved search visibility, and a scalable foundation for continued organic growth.
