Productive Care +
Efficient Design

Overview

While at TEG Architects, I designed a print publication supporting the firm’s Efficient Design + Productive Care (ED+PC) strategy, an evidence-based planning methodology focused on improving staffing efficiency, patient satisfaction, and financial performance across healthcare environments. The publication was created to communicate complex operational concepts with clarity and authority while reinforcing the firm’s strategic expertise in healthcare design.

The design was structured to translate detailed architectural and operational thinking into a format that felt clear, credible, and accessible to executive stakeholders. Through disciplined typography, grid systems, and data visualization, the publication transformed complex information into a more readable and engaging visual experience. The goal was not only to present the material accurately, but to give it a level of structure and refinement that supported the seriousness of the subject matter and the strategic value of the methodology being presented.

Technical diagrams, performance metrics, and supporting narratives were organized into a cohesive visual framework that balanced density with clarity. This allowed the content to communicate measurable outcomes without becoming visually overwhelming. Careful attention was given to pacing, hierarchy, and consistency so readers could move through the material in a way that felt guided and intuitive while still reflecting the rigor of the underlying methodology. The publication needed to feel analytical and authoritative while remaining accessible enough for leadership audiences evaluating operational and financial impact.

Because the subject matter centered on evidence-based planning, the visual presentation needed to support both trust and comprehension. The publication was designed to make complex ideas easier to absorb while maintaining a professional tone appropriate for executive and decision-making audiences. Every element of the layout worked toward presenting ED+PC as both strategic and actionable, helping connect design thinking with practical outcomes in healthcare environments.

The result is a refined, professionally executed print publication that reinforces TEG Architects’ positioning through clear, evidence-driven communication, strong editorial design, and a visual system built to support complex information with clarity.
