Overview

I developed two microsites for Ritchie Waterers focused on seasonal preventative maintenance for winter preparation and summer efficiency. The goal was to transform a routine, often overlooked task into a more engaging brand experience that reinforced Ritchie’s reputation for durability, reliability, and product quality. Rather than presenting maintenance as simple instruction alone, the campaign was designed to make seasonal care feel more purposeful, accessible, and visually connected to the brand.

Each microsite was designed as a guided, step-by-step experience with strong visual hierarchy, clear instructional structure, and campaign-driven messaging. Seasonal themes shaped the tone and visual treatment of each site while keeping both experiences connected within a unified system. The winter campaign emphasized preparation and protection, helping users focus on cold-weather readiness and preventative care. The summer campaign shifted toward performance and longevity, positioning maintenance as part of keeping equipment running efficiently over time. This seasonal contrast helped distinguish the two experiences while maintaining consistency across the broader campaign.

Beyond the microsites themselves, the campaign extended into digital display advertising and printed collateral, creating a broader visual system across web, paid media, and physical materials. Layout, typography, and color treatments were carried consistently through brochure design and downloadable guides, helping maintain continuity across every touchpoint and reinforcing the overall campaign identity. This made the effort feel less like a standalone web project and more like a connected campaign system built to support the brand across channels.

Both sites were built in WordPress with custom front-end development to support interactive elements, dynamic content presentation, and streamlined content management. This approach allowed the experience to feel tailored and engaging on the front end while still providing a practical, manageable publishing workflow behind the scenes.

The result was a cohesive multi-channel campaign that elevated product maintenance from simple instruction to brand storytelling, combining web design, campaign structure, and custom WordPress development into a more engaging seasonal experience that supported both usability and brand consistency.
